Trading Technologies' Platform Selected by Vision Financial Markets

Trading Technologies’ X_TRADER suite of algorithmic execution products will provide a range of new services for Vision,  a self-clearing futures commission merchant with presence in a number of major US exchanges.

The deal means that Vision customers will be able to use Trading Technologies order-entry software, low-latency exchange gateways, server-based algorithmic execution tools and APIs to access US derivatives markets.

Trading Technologies’ server-based Strategy Engine family of products are designed to give derivatives traders the ability to operate from any global location, without experiencing the latency issues often associated with remote trading. Orders routed through SE applications are executed on servers sited in close proximity to the exchange matching engine, providing what Trading Technologies describes as ‘optimal performance, speed and resiliency’.

Commenting on the deal, Vision president Howard Rothman said: “The partnership with TT is a differentiator in the marketplace, allowing Vision to offer all of TT’s products and platforms to those active derivatives traders requiring top execution and trading technology and performance.”

Trading Technologies SE family currently consists of the Autospreader Strategy Engine and Synthetic Engine. The company plans to launch its Algo Strategy Engine early this year, along with the Algo Design Lab programming platform and the updated X_TRADER 7.11.

“We are excited to have Vision join our growing list of FCM clients,” said Trading Technologies chief exective Harris Brumfield. “We look forward to working closely with Vision to distribute TT’s X_TRADER order-entry software and API solutions to their client base.”
